For the 2nd time EFFA was hosted by our instructor collegue Angelo Piller in Tai di Cadore to fish the Piave and tributaries and to have an EFFA exam nearby. The Pentecost week-end provided sufficient time to get to know the advantages of the area, in particular also the local cuisine. Angelos' Villa Marinotti has become a perfect meeting place to explore the waters of the area populated by marmoratas, graylings, brown and rainbow trout. Besides that, the infrastructure is also well suitable to arrange the difficult EFFA instructor exams. On the exam day the weather was excellent and during the most important parts of the exam there was even no wind at all. Seven Basic and a Master candidate lined for the check. The examiners' team consisted of Valerio Santagostino, Giacomo Catellani, Günter Feuerstein and the assistance examiners Peter Henggeler and Fredi Illien. They exactly sounded out the candidates so the exam lasted the whole day. At lunch our star cook and EFFA accountant Rene Widmer served an exellenten Chilli con Carne. Many thanks Rene! After a long exam day four new instructors could finally be certificated. These were Roberto Miceli, Alberto Perazzi and Mirco Bandi from Italy as well as Manfred Hafele from Austria. Congratulations!

On the following days examiners, candidates and assistants as well as helpers and friends went on exploring the waters of the area and caught some beautiful fish.
