The Circle Spey

The Circle Spey/C-Spey is no new development at all. In fact it is nothing but the beginner version of the Snap-T as I have been teaching it for many years. As the beginners are not so skilled in separating the casting planes which is essential for the more effective, professional and difficult version Snap-T the beginners do better in forming a half circle to move the line upstream. This is the only difference.

So the name Circle Spey/C-Spey is the only new thing and was created by a follower who obviously wanted to make himself important in fly casting by pretending to have invented or discovered something new.
