Angelo Piller (IT)

Angelo was born in Milan and was fishing all his life. He is a passionate fly fisher, film producer, guide and EFFA fly casting instructor. He runs Villa Marinotti, a fly fishing center in Tai di Cadore near Cortina d' Ampezzo in northern Italy. The hotel is the meeting point for all fly fishers that head for the Dolomites waters. There are many rivers that can be fished like the famous Piave, the Boite, Ansei, ... and of course some great pike lakes. The marble trout is the top predator in the Piave and can reach 10 kg and more.

Angelo knows all rivers n the area very well and also loves to fly fish for pike from the belly boat. He owns a fly shop situated in Villa Marinotti as he needs to distribute all needed equipment and flies to his fly fishing guests from all over Europe. Angelo is easy to get along with, polite and calm. He is the perfect guide for you for fishing the Dolomites mountain waters.
